Hello! A little about me: I am a military spouse and a mom to two beautiful girls. I began my photography journey a little over a year ago, but I have had a passion for photography since I was given my first camera at the age of four. I truly love what I do and the joy I get to bring to other families by capturing some of their most precious memories.
I am what people call a social butterfly, and I enjoy getting to know the people, couples, families, and babies I have the honor of working with. I always do my best to make you feel welcomed and comfortable, no matter the setting.
My aproach
I do directed posing during most of my sessions, but I also love families and couples being themselves during our sessions and doing what feels natural for them. I am always open to suggestions and requests as well.
For my newborn sessions, specifically, I walk my parents through the process as soon as they arrive for the session, so they are aware of what to expect. I love to engage with my parents throughout the session, creating a sense of involvement and connection.
My main concern during any photoshoot is that everyone is comfortable and happy. I strive to create a relaxed and open atmosphere during all my sessions, regardless of the location or situation. I find that creating a casual space results in the most natural photos.
I enjoy getting a sense of the couples and families I work with by talking and getting to know each other before I begin taking photos. Making true connections with those I get to work with is one of the many blessings of my photography.
